Still looking for you.. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Hello,

I am currently fostering two male and two female kittens (small cats) who are hoping you find them. They were abandoned in the park behind my backyard. They were already spoken for..by more than two different families and it fell through. People show up with a cat carrier all ready to take them out the door. That is very nice..but if you read the ad they are ferrel..which means they are wild and have to be socialized.
If you choose a cat or cats..I would then have to trap them as they are loose in my garage.
They cannot just be scooped up and put in a cat carrier.
Who ever is up for the challenge..they would have to be socialized by you in a room in your house.
You need lots of patience to get them to trust you. They will feed out of my hand and play with their toy wands with me..but are still leery of being touched or picked up.
The kittens (small cats) are approxiametly 6 months old. I had been feeding them outside..and did not want to see them weather the out doors in winter. Not knowing what to do I found a very nice cat rescue lady who came to help. I mentioned these cats have to be socialized.. they are now not terribly wild, with a little coaxing should be easy to socialize. I am allergic to cats ..( but even so I may keep the smallest female) so I am hoping to be fortunate enough to find loving homes for the others. Possibly persons who might love one or even two cats...would be great. I hate to break them up..as they love each other..if you could take two that would be awesome. So they would not be so alone. They just need some time and TLC. I had them in dog crates in my garage. I have since let them out..and they love to play. They have plenty of food and warmth..just need somebody to love them.

These cats have all been neutered and spayed and needled.
(hence the wee bit of ear nipped off..the vet does this so if they get outside and are picked up it is known they are needled and fixed)
If you are interested in taking a cat, a donation to the rescue organization who paid for all the vet bills would be much appreciated. $50-$100. That is not a lot
in comparison to the cost of having them fixed and given their needles.
If you are not able to make a donation that would be okay too.

PS: As I mentioned ..they are loose in my garage..and will have to be trapped again. So please be patient..and please come and have a look to see if one is just right for you. They all love too play and every morning when I come down to feed them etc...it looks like quite a ruckus has gone on in my garage :-)..which is good thing..when I first had them trapped they were terrified and did not even know how to play..now they have a ball.
