Is there that special videogame that you've been looking for a while that's hard to find? Maybe a a special gift for someone special or for your personal collection? Are you looking for experienced staff that are experienced game players too that know videogames and can point you to the games you are looking for? How about accessories you need for your game system? We're GAU Games & Collectibles, and video games are the very core of who we are. We also take trade-ins as well and will buy your games from you that you're no longer playing, provided they are in good shape.

Our specialty is providing people access to hard to find videogames, accessories and systems especially retro videogames. We have a large selection of retro and current videogames and keep building up up our stock. We also deal in the odd collectible and the odd item that connects to videogames, anime, sci-fi and horror movies, some harder to find collectible role playing games, and have the odd DVD, and anime wall scrolls from series like Final Fantasy and Dragon Ball Z, and the odd anime collectibles. We also carry a great selection of Japanese snacks, including Pocky and other Asian candy as well and dvds, including tv box sets and a selection of karaoke cds (many not found locally).We will be offering resurfacing cd/dvds/games/karaoke cds for $4.00 per cd again in the near future (out of order now for a few weeks unfortunately).

Over time we've grown and greatly expanded our inventory at our booth. In the past couple weeks we've added tons of new games including a number of SNES games including: Aerobiz, Breath of Fire I and II, Mega Man X and X2, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, Mario Paint (with mouse and pad), Rampart, Chronotrigger, Inspector Gadget, Super Empire Strikes Back, Super Return of the Jedi, F-Zero, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Battletoads in Battle Maniacs, Lemmings 2: Tribes, Kirby's Dream Course, Chronotrigger, Shadowrun, Double Dragon V : The Shadow Falls, Dirt Race FX, Ren & Stimpy : Veediots!, Super Ghouls & Ghosts, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Kirby's Dream Course, and Battletoads/Double Dragon.
Also we got in tons of NES games including: Faxanadu, Mappyland, Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands : The Story pf Bubble Bobble Part 2, Joe & Mac, M.C. Kids, Adventures of Lolo, Super Mario 3, Laser Invasion, Caveman Games, Batman, Kirby's Adventure, Final Fantasy, M.U.L.E., Heavy Shreddin, Bump' n' Jump, Dr. Mario, Ice Hockey, WWF Wrestlemania Challenge, Jackal, Tiger-Hell, and Pinbot. For Dreamcast we got in Mr. Driller, Space Channel 5, Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2 (new!)
For Playstation 2 we got in: Fatal Frame 2 (new!), Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES (new!), Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (new!), Mega Man X Collection (new!), Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (new!)(sold but more on order soon), Harvest Moon : Save the Homeland, Jak II, Star Wars Racer: Revenge, Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2, Virtua Fighter 4: Virtua Evolution, Pa Rappa the Rapper. And for Playstation 3 we got in: Uncharted 3, Overlord 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet & Clank Future Tools : Tools of Destruction, NHL 11, Rio, Little Big Planet (PS3), Madden 11 and Skate 2. And for the PSP we got in Steel Horizon, Little Big Planet, Star Wars Battlefront : Elite Squadron, Kingdom Hearts : Birth by Sleep,
For the Wii we got in Metal Slug Anthology, Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2 (Game only), Dance Dance Revolution Bundle (new!), Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rock Band Country, Sid Meier's Pirates (new!), Kirby's Epic Yarn (new!), Kirby : Return to Dreamland. For the Gamecube we got in: Chicken Little, Scooby Doo: Unmasked, Surf's Up, Metroid Prime, Mario Dance Mix (complete in box with DDR Dance Pad).
For XBOX 360 we got in: Star Ocean: The Last Hope (new!), Bulletstorm, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Fable III, Fallout 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: MW3. For XBOX we got in: Elder Scrolls III : Morrowwind.
For the Gameboy Advance we got in Super Mario Advance (GBA), and Munch's Oddysee (GBA), as well as for the Sega Genesis: Altered Beast and Spiderman/X-men Arcade's Revenge, and for the DS we got in : WarioWare: DIY (new!), Rhapsody, A Musical Adventure (new!), Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (new!), Kung Zhu Limited Edition (with Tull Hamster included)(new!), The Legendary Starfy (new!), Exit (new!). For 3DS we got in Bust-a-move Universe (new!), Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (new!), Ghost Recon : Shadow Wars, Shinobi (cartridge only). These are just some of the games we got in recently, we got in so many titles this week that we couldn't post them all.
All of our cartridge games have been tested and cleaned as well (provided it's possible to clean them.) to provide the best quality we can provide in our games. If you love retro videogames and haven't checked us out yet, you should, you don't know what you are missing!!
Come visit us at the Harbourview Weekend Market (on 42 Canal St in Dartmouth, in behind Moffatt's Pharmacy in the old Value Village Building) this weekend, (we're there every weekend). Our booth is found at the back of the building across from Alan the Record man's booth in the alcove. If you go down the back of the building you can't miss us. We are normally open Fridays 11am-6pm, and Saturdays to Sundays 9am-4pm. So why not come check us out this week and pick up a new game?
